·       Music class and 2 annual performances with Ms. Smith – 1 class per week

·       Reading & Math Specialists – when appropriate

1st grade – 6th grade

·       “Extreme Lunch”  and “Playground Partners” – organized lunchtime activities

4th grade – 6th grade

·       Science with Mr. Baugh – 2 classes per week – over 50 hours of science!

The money collected from the 2010 EEF Pioneer Pledge Drive is needed to run these programs in this school year. These outstanding programs risk being reduced/eliminated if the goal of $150,000 is not achieved.

· Classrooms with 85%-94% participation will receive $100 in gift cards to use for classroom material

· Classrooms with 95%-100% participation will receive $200 in gift cards to use for classroom materials

· A minimum donation of $50 per child is required for classroom participation eligibility

· All classroom participation contest donations must be received by Friday, September 10th at 1pm

Why does EEF collect $250 per child during the Pioneer Pledge Drive?

OPE receives less than $30,000 from the State of California to operate for the entire school year (excluding salaries). In order to provide your child(ren) with a top quality education EEF’s goal is an annual operating budget of $300,000.
